Meet the Founders: Wayne & Anita Beaubien

Wayne and Anita Beaubien are the powerhouse duo behind NexGen Destinations LLC—a modern DMC built to serve groups that traditional agencies often overlook. Together, they bring decades of combined expertise in hospitality, event planning, and technology to create a smarter, more inclusive approach to destination management.

Anita Beaubien is a seasoned hospitality executive and event strategist with deep roots in hotel operations, catering, and group sales. Her career has been defined by a passion for elevating client experiences and empowering teams with tools that streamline the planning process without sacrificing personalization. Anita’s leadership brings heart, hospitality, and a fierce drive to serve clients of all sizes—especially those underserved by the industry.

Wayne Beaubien began his career with industry giant Maritz, where he managed high-volume, high-impact programs for some of the world’s largest companies. He later launched his own DMC, where he played a lead role in orchestrating hotel openings for prestigious properties including Loews Ventana Canyon, Westin La Paloma, and El Conquistador in Tucson. Wayne successfully executed thousands of back-to-back group programs, particularly for the automotive and insurance sectors, earning a reputation for precision logistics and operational excellence.

In recent years, Wayne has focused his energy on technology innovation. As the technical co-founder of e-destinACCESS, he pioneered automation tools that power real-time proposals, itineraries, and supplier coordination—now integral to NexGen Destinations LLC’s offering.

Together, they believe: Large-scale MICE programs are in our wheelhouse—but small and mid-size groups are in our hearts.
